Meerut ‘love jihad’ case: Meerut girl takes u-turn, denies rape and forced conversion

The young woman from Meerut, who in August claimed she was abducted, gang-raped and forcefully converted to Islam, has made a U-turn, telling police that she had in fact eloped with the accused. She left her home on Sunday citing threats and contacted the police.The 22-year-old Hindu woman told police that she had gone with the Muslim man out of her own will, a newspaper report said on Monday.
