LPG subsidy cap raises to 9

The Govt has acquired EC's nod to proposal of raising subsidy cap on number of cylinders from 6 to 9. This cap extension is to be effective from April. The EC has reportedly said that the government's decision to hike the subsidised LPG cap is not the violation of election code of conduct.
