MIM MLA Owaisi sought 4-day time to appear before police

Akbaruddin Owaisi, the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA booked for allegedly making a "hate speech" against a particular community, today sought four days time to appear before Andhra Pradesh Police. Owaisi, who was supposed to appear before Nirmal rural police in Adilabad today, requested that he be granted four days to appear before them. However, police are yet to take a call on his request. The decision on whether to grant him the permission will be taken at a senior level. He returned this morning from London to a rousing reception by his supporters at the Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad. A hospital ambulance was at his residence for a reported check up on Monday morning.
