Delhi gangrape: Delhi mourns Damini's death - NewsX

In view of mourning across the country after the death of 23-year old Damini, many clubs, pubs and restaurants across the national capital are either calling off new year celebrations or toning them down.
Delhi Gymkhana, while cancelling its musical celebrations has asked its 7,000 members to come and light candles in solidarity the girl. The Press Club of India though will remain open, has cancelled its New Year's celebrations. Ashok Hotel's nightclub, Capitol, would remain closed on New Year's Eve. Chelmsford Club and Vasant vihar club have also called off their New Year celebrations. Many eateries including Boombox, Out of the Box, Lazeez Affaire and Toast have decided to keep celebrations low key.
