India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni answered his critics in the best way possible with his bat. Dhoni's battling 99 was the longest innings of his career. And it will surely give some breathing space to the captain after he had been subjected to mounting criticisim in the build up to the Nagpur Test. Showing admirable restraint and tenacity in the face of adversity, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni showed his class, temperament and skill to shut up the detractors. Dhoni played his longest ever Test innings although he narrowly missed out on his 6th test century.
