Model accusing Mumbai DIG of rape wanted publicity for a TV show

The case of rape and molestation against Mumbai DIG Sunil Paraskar got murkier after shocking claims made by the model's former lawyer. The Mumbai Police has recorded the statement of the complainant's former lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui. The lawyer claims she had never alleged rape to him.
Siddiqui has submitted the CCTV footage of his meeting with the model where they can be seen discussing the case. Siddiqui said that the complainant told him that she wanted to create a controversy to participate in a TV show.
