Honour killing in Haryana: Family kills girl for marrying classmate - NewsX

Another case of suspected dishonour killing has surfaced in Haryana. A second-year BBA student Indu was allegedly killed by her family in Panipat for marrying her classmate Ajay Rohil who belonged to a different caste. It is said that after the wedding, Indu's parents had convinced her in-laws to let her go home with them. But out there, she was allegedly poisoned to death and her body cremated hurriedly on Saturday in a bid to destroy the evidence. The Panipat police have registered a case and arrested the girl's parents and seven others.
