The National Commission for Women has submitted its report into the matter of alleged cover up cases of rape and molestation in the Banasthali university campus in Rajasthan's Tonk district. The Commission's report has blamed the University's administration responsible for the unrest on the campus. The report has been handed over to the state's chief minister with a call for immediate action on the issue. In September this year two students of the deemed university had alleged molestation by the ambulance driver but University authorities hushed up the matter instead. Later, a hostel warden and an ambulance driver were arrested after students protested against the institution's management for allegedly covering up cases of rape and molestation in the university campus.
