India's overall performance in the T-20 World Cup was not so bad, winning four out of their five encounters. The men in Blue had a great chance to make it to the last four but Dhoni's defensive leadership led to the team's downfall. This is not the first time though that India has lost any tournament or series, but after winning the World Cup 2011, Team India has failed to make any impression in all the formats. Since World Cup 2011, India has played 7 series, out of which the team lost 3. The team even failed to reach the final of any tri-series. Dhoni had had a miserable 2012 with India losing 7 test matches overseas under his watch. India also crashed out of the World T20 under Dhoni's captaincy.
