Punjabi youth killed in Philippines - NewsX

Yet another shocker of a youth from Punjab killed in the Philippines... another in a series of such crimes in that country. In the latest case... a youth from Shahkot area of Punjab was shot dead in ILU ILU SINUSI city in the Philippines last week. Malkit Singh had gone to the Philippines on a finance assignment last year. Initial investigations suggest that robbery was the motive for the crime. Malkit Singh's parents and family in Shahkot in Punjab have called on the Indian govt to intervene in the matter and bring the guilty to book. There has been a sharp rise in crime against Indians in the Philippines in the recent past.
