'Political Chessboard' is a NewsX special show which debates the political situation after UPA. UPA govt is running through a political crisis emerged as a result of of govt decision to give FDI in multi-brand retail, diesel price hike and limitation of subsidy on household LPG cylinders. Govt is facing flak from all political parties and common man. Govt justified this move as a necessity of economic reforms. After that move TMC, the main alliance of UPA demanded a rollback of decisions on FDI and fuel price hike. TMC has threatened to withdraw support if rollback decision were not met.
