Congress core group to meet PM over Mamata pullout - NewsX

Congress core group will meet at the PM's residence around 10am today, to discuss about the current political scenario. This meeting is going to pave the way for Congress and what the strategies are going to be. This comes after Mamama Banerjee nnounced that she will pull out of the UPA, but will wait till Friday before her ministers put in their papers. The government says it will continue to reach out to Mamata, even while rejecting ideas of a policy rollback. The political calculators are out and the number-crunching is under way.
