The Supreme Court granted bail to murdered teenager Aarushi Talwar's mother Nupur. She has been lodged in Noida's Dasna jail since April 30. However, Nupur will only be released on September 25 from Dasna jail. Nupur's lawyers argued that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was dragging its feet in the case and it would take two years for the case to be decided. The lawyers argued that important material and critical witnesses had been presented and questioned, so there was no chance of Talwars influencing any one. She has been in judicial custody for four months for her alleged role in the double murder of her daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.
