Sushma Swaraj apt choice for PM: Bal Thackeray - NewsX

Even as the struggle within the BJP over the choice of Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 general polls continues to remain fluid, Shiv Sena has sprung a surprise by batting for BJP leader Sushma Swaraj. Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on lavishing praise on Sushma Swaraj, in an interview to his party's mouthpiece Saamna, that "Sushma Sawarj is a smart, brilliant choice for PM candidate. She is hard working, she will be the right choice for PM candidate." Incidentally, Sushma Swaraj had met the Sena patriarch Bal Thackeray recently as part of her campaign against the centre over the coal blocks allocation controversy.
