The vice-principal of a reputable missionary school in Hooghly's Bandel town was arrested on Wednesday for severely beating up seven Class IV students, all around 10-11 years old, as they were decorating their class on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Three of the seven students suffered head injuries and had to get stitches at a local hospital. The incident took place at Bandel's Don Bosco School when the students were decorating their classroom for the celebrations and playing with foam spray.
