No ban on Twitter in India: Govt - NewsX

India has withdrawn its threat to block Twitter across the country over its demand for the removal of 24 hates pages. Sources from the Ministry of Home Affairs have confirmed that the threat has been withdraw with Twitter accepting to cooperate with the Government on this issue. The information ministry had issued Twitter with a deadline notice to remove 'inflammatory and harmful material' that had allegedly triggered ethnic tensions against northeastern migrants living in other states.
