As the 15th of August dawned on the subcontinent, India put out her first step out of the British colonial rule. To belong to a nation, free and unshackled, was the dream of every Indian. The visionaries who helped translate this dream into reality, were individuals who dared to put their forth into words and action. Today, India is a free country, the world's largest democracy and surviving commendably, if not perfectly. As we celebrate indepence, we salute these visionaries who dared the British and won us our birth right...freedom..
