Geetika Sharma suicide: Kanda likely to surrender today - NewsX

Gopal Kanda the absconding former Haryana Minister is likely to surrender today. Kanda is expected to move the high court for anticipatory bail. Kanda is on the run for the 5th day today, after his earlier bail petition was dismissed. On Sunday, the police continued their searches at several places in Delhi, Haryana and Siliguri. They even roped in a relative in their efforts to track him down. Apparently depressed over continuous mental harassment allegedly by Kanda, 23-year-old Sharma took the extreme step at her Ashok Vihar residence in north-west Delhi. In her suicide note, Sharma, who quit Kanda's company recently, accused the former minister of torturing her mentally after she left the job.
