In a development that could have far reaching consequences on Indo-Pakistan relations, 252 Hindus from Pakistan entered India via Wagah, with the intention of not wanting to return. Unable to sustain the torment that they had to face in Pakistan, the 100 odd Hindu households have sold off all they owned before leaving Jacobabad for Lahore. The Hindu migrants traveled on the pretext of a 30-day pilgrimage to India. They are set to seek asylum in India.
