Congress President Sonia Gandhi will file her nomination from Raebareli on Wednesday. She had won the seat in 2009 as well as in 2004.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and party in-charge for Raebareli and Amethi Priyanka Gandhi will accompany Sonia. The Raebareli residents seem to supporting Sonia Gandhi. "Sonia Gandhi has done good work for our city. I do support Sonia Gandhi," said a resident.

The BJP has fielded SC advocate Ajay Agarwal from this constituency. The Samajwadi Party hasn't fielded any candidate against her.

Rae Bareli will vote on April 30.
