In a chilling reminder of the continuing abuse of minors in the country, a Noida based couple has been arrested by the police for the continuing abuse of a teen, employed by them. In a glaring contravention of existing child labor laws, the couple had employed the 14 year old from a Delhi based placement service, and would abuse her for every minor mistake, the torture including regular beatings.
