Indonesian Air Force Officials have confirmed that the wreckage of the new Russian-made civilian plane carrying 50 people that went missing in Indonesia has been found. The plane went off the radar while flying over mountains on Wednesday during a demonstration flight for potential buyers and journalists. Rescue teams had been searching the area just south of the capital, according to a spokesman for the Ministry of Transportation. Bad weather, however, forced at least two helicopters to turn back. It dropped off the radar 21 minutes later near the Salak mountain range, after the crew asked air traffic control for permission to descend from 10-thousand feet to 6-thousand feet (3-thousand metres to 1,800 metres).
