Woman accuses Rajasthan minister Babu Lal Nagar of rape, CID likely to probe into charge

India News: In a case of utter insensitivity and blatant violation of the Supreme Court directions, the state police's CID (crime branch) took the rape victim to minister of state Babu Lal Nagar's residence at night to verify the crime spot.
The apex court directions bar the police from acting against a woman even if she is an accused person once the sun sets. But this did not deter the state CID sleuths from forcing the rape victim to accompany them to the crime spot - the minister's bungalow in the Civil Lines - around 9:30 pm.
