Five Indian soldiers were killed in an ambush by Pakistan Army and militants' joint operation inside the Indian territory along the LoC in Poonch sector late Monday evening.One jawan was critically injured. Defence sources say the deceased have been identified as one Junior Commission Offier (JCO) and four jawans. Army has pushed in more troops in the area and senior officers have rushed to the spot.
According to army sources, the ambush was carried out by the border action team of the Pakistan army, which comprises of commandos and also dreaded terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist outfits.
