1 Indian among 162 killed in blast in Nigeria

An Indian national is among 162 people killed in a series of terror blasts in the Nigerian city of Kano. Another six Indians, including two children, were injured in the attacks. External affairs minister S M Krishna has asked for details and immediate action from the Indian High Commissioner in Nigeria. Coordinated bomb attacks targeted security forces in Nigeria's second-largest city. The Indian killed was working for a Kano-based company since March 2011. He and two of his co-employees both Nepali nationals - lost their lives when their car apparently entered a zone of hostilities. The attacks are believed to be the work of members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
