India News: Rasheed Masood, of congress says that one can have full meal for Re.1. Congress leader further claimed that "one can eat well" for Rs. 5 in the Jama Masjid area of national capital, a day after Congress spokesperson Raj Babbar said that one can have a full meal for Rs.12 in Mumbai.
The comments can be seen as part of the Congress' efforts to defend a report by the Planning Commission which said poverty has declined by 22 percent since the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
