Despite having differences, the traditional rivals NDA and Left have come together on the issue of the Lokayuktas in the states, CBI's investigation wing under the Lokpal and on dropping the minority quota that is being demanded by the BJP. Both coalitions are ensuring better floor co-ordination while trying to push through their amendments in the Bill.
