India News: SC asks government to explain coal allocation method

India News : Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the central government to file an affidavit, along with supporting material, explaining the procedure and methodology that was adopted for the allocation of 164 coal blocks.
An apex court bench headed by Justice R.M. Lodha gave this direction after perusing a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) status report about the on-going investigation into the coal blocks allocation.
