EPL clubs have been trying to gain a greater footprint in India with an eye on developing talent. Liverpool is setting up football schools in India and legends of the club are helping in the development process. Club legend Ian Rush made an appearance in Mumbai on Friday, playing football with under-privileged children as part of an initiative. The program seeks to identify talented children and help them in developing talent. Rush played for Liverpool over 15 years, across 2 spells and scored 229 league goals.
