A strong statement comes from Ajay Maken over the organization and conduct of the Indian Premier League. The Sports Minister has hinted that there is rampant corruption in BCCI's cash-rich T20 league. Maken did so during a function in Kolkata, where he also hit out at the BCCI for its opposition to the new sports bill. Remember, the bill seeks to bring transparency to the functioning of all sports bodies in India through the RTI act.
