Several thousand joined Anna at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan. The government tried to open a back channel dialogue process with Anna and his team. But its 13-point proposal failed to cut ice with Anna team members. They rejected it outright saying it was nothing more than a recast of the government's version of the Lokpal Bill.
