A security alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir in the run-up to Independence Day. The IGP has confirmed this, informing threat to the returning bunch of pilgrims, vehicles and the security forces in the Amarnath yatra. As the yatra officially draws to a close, the J&K IGP cautioned against possibility of a bomb attack.
