Sonia undergoes surgery, Rahul takes command

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will undergo a surgery in the United States for an undisclosed medical condition. She has constituted a four-member group including Rahul Gandhi to oversee the party's functioning in her absence. Rahul is seen as the de facto leader of the four member panel.
