The Prime Minister met Sonia Gandhi amidst talk of a cabinet reshuffle. The DMK may be offered a berth in the cabinet but the DMK chief Karunanidhi is reluctant to accept it. There are also conflicting reports as to whether the party was offered more than one berth by Pranab Mukherjee but as far as the rest of the reshuffle is concerned there are few surprises.
