India News: With Nobel laureate Amartya Sen extending his full support to the National Food Security Bill that was tabled in Lok Sabha yesterday, the UPA government is expected to take all possible steps to ensure the smooth passage of the crucial legislation on Tuesday.
The noted economist on Monday blamed the opposition for disrupting the proceedings in Parliament, saying they were "bursting debates" and "killing arguments" in the House as he backed the Food Security Bill in its present form.
