Rahul Gandhi to reach sarabjit's village

India News: Sarabjit Singh, an Indian death row prisoner who died in Pakistan on Thursday a week after a brutal prison attack, was accorded a state funeral in his Punjab hometown of Bhikhiwind on Friday.

The last rites were performed by his sister, Dalbir Kaur.

For Sarabjit Singh's funeral, a sea of people had gathered at Punjab's Bhikiwind village. Among them were Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
