1984 Anti-Sikh Riot: Sajjan Kumar acquitted, 5 other convicted

India News: A Delhi court on Tuesday acquitted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar of all charges in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. Three other people accused in the case--Balwan Khokkar, Kishan Khokkar and Girdhari Lal--have been convicted for murder in the same case. Two others, Mahender Yadav, and Captain Bhagmal, were convicted for rioting. Immediately, after the Karkardooma district court gave its order a protester threw a shoe at the judge.
