India News: After getting a tongue-lashing from NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar sat on penance fast near the samadhi (mausoleum) of Maharashtra leader Yeshwantrao Chavan in Karad of Sangli district.
The daylong fast began early this morning. All party MLAs and workers have been asked to stay away.
