New Year Celebrations have been low key in Delhi and all across India with several people staying on at Jantar Mantar epicentre of protests for the gang rape victim through the night despite the severe cold.
Since early this morning people have started to gather again. Several are on hunger strike demanding that a stringent law to punish sex offenders is enacted quickly. 'DAMINI' was cremated early in the morning on Sunday. Prayers and a hawan continue at Jantar Mantar. Posters depict the mood of the nation an India that is crying for its braveheart.
