The viral behind-the-scenes video showed the actress riding on an artificial horse prop for one of the battlefield scenes in the Rani Laxmibai biopic. A YouTuber named Akash Banerjee took to Twitter and took a dig at actress for the usage of CGI effects to film the action sequence. He posted the video and captioned it, "Define Kangana Ranaut's brand of Nationalism in 10 seconds?" However, veteran actors Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal were quick to come in support of the actress.
