South, North Korean sports officials to meet with IOC chairman to discuss united Korea team, co-hosting of 2032 Olympics

The two Koreas are pushing to achieve cross-border unity in international sports.
The South Korean minister of culture and sports, Do Jong-hwan , and his North Korean counterpart, Kim Il-guk , are planning to visit the Swiss city of Lausanne on Friday... to meet the chief of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach.
The officials are expected to discuss their countries' hopes to form a united team at the Tokyo Olympics next year,... as well as bid to jointly host the Summer Olympics in 2032.
The first time South and North formed an Olympic team together was last year at the Pyeongychang Winter Games... in women's ice hockey.
