Abhishek Bachchan announced the 60th Filmfare Awards at an event held in Mumbai. At the press conference he said that he hopes to win an award for his performance in 'Happy New Year'.
Farah Khan’s 'Happy New Year' saw the actor play Nandu Bhide in the movie. He has been praised by the critics and audience and has even won awards for his performance. The actor came to the event in a white shirt that he paired up with black pants, a black tie and a leather jacket. The 60th Filmfare Awards will be held on January 31, at the Yash Raj Studios. It will be hosted by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma.
