Budget 2019 is a statement of intent, says FICCI

Finance minister Piyush Goyal has presented the interim budget. It wasn’t quite interim because it made tall promises for the future, not just for the next 5 years but for the next 10 years as he articulated what the government will do if it was voted back to power. A Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) team of Sandip Somany, president, YK Modi, former president, Pranav Sayta, head- taxation committee and Subhrakant Panda, Odisha State Council and Sangita Reddy, Senior VP of FICCI discussed the announcements made and the schemes presented in the budget.
