Budget 2019: Is Modi's India got '85%' better than UPA govt.?

With 2019 general elections approaching fast, NDA is leaving no opportunity to reiterate its achievements for the last 4.5 years. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that the government has curbed the leakage of money in government policies and has succeeded in giving around Rs 5.78 Lakh Crore directly to people via different schemes. PM said that it is due to the direct cash transfer that the govt has been able to implement it's schemes without any leakage Taking a dig at congress, pm said that a former prime minister of India said that only 15 per cent of Indian money reaches to people and rest is vanished.
