24 Hours after the centre filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking permission to allot undisputed land at the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas back to title owners. A move that many believe could spur the construction of Ram temple even as opposition and critics feel could disrupt social harmony ahead of lok sabha polls seers, in a direct challenge to the Modi government. Today declared 21st February as the date for laying foundation stone for the proposed temple. Even as the Vishwa Hindu parishad will meet tomorrow, where the temple pitch will be raised further. Even as there is lack of consensus within the right with Nirmohi Akhada, one of the main petitioners in the title suit, wary of the petition causing further legal delays. But the big question is less than 100 days to go for Lok Sabha elections, can the BJP ensure the construction of temple on the undisputed areas? Will this lead to fresh delays in the main case? and what will be the electoral impact of the move.
