Centre has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking permission to return the surplus acquired land at the Ram Janmabhoomi site. In its petitions centre has stated that out of 67 acres of acquired temple land only 0.313 acres is disputed. Centre wants to allot part of the excess land to ram Janmabhoomi Nyas.
