Seoul's top diplomat held talks with U.S. Ambassador to South Korea Harry Harris, covering a range of issues including Pyeongyang's denuclearization. Harris is thought to have delivered new year's greetings to Kang Kyung-hwa. And according to the foreign ministry they also talked about the issue of how the allies are going to share defense costs. Harris also met Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo earlier in the day. Although the details of that session is disclosed, some speculate the duo may have discussed the radar dispute between Seoul and Tokyo.
