Chithambaram (Prakash Raj) is an important person in a village, who believes in what he sees without second thought. His daughter Kausalya (Priyanka Upendra) loves Suresh (Vikram) who comes to his friend's house to spend his vacation. Whenever Chithambaram meets Suresh he misunderstands him. Hence, Chithambaram doesn't agree to Kausalya's marriage with Suresh. How Kausalya's family members and Suresh convinces Chithambaram forms the climax of the movie.
