Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday appointed sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the general secretary for Uttar Pradesh East. While Gandhi met farmers in Amethi, he spoke to the media about his sister’s appointment and said that Priyanka and Jyotiraditya Scindia are both powerful leaders and will surely work for the people in Uttar Pradesh. Gandhi further added that the people of Uttar Pradesh should realise that it is high time for the government to change.
