Cold and windy start to the day _ 012119

Good morning. A brief cold snap is here, some of upper regions are under a cold wave advisory, strong winds are making it feel colder than the actual temperatures. The thermometer points at minus 6 degrees in Seoul, but it feel more like minus 9 degrees Celsius so dress warmly on your way out.
Yesterday was Dahan, one of the seasonal indicators marking the coldest day of winter...and it really did get a bit colder, but not too bad and colder temperatures are a lot more welcome these days as we tend to see cleaner air. For the first half of the week, we'll see bearable temperatures with highs hovering 5 degrees Celsius.
Mostly sunny skies will be featured while morning lows in most areas are quite cold, kicking off at minus 6 degrees in Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu.
Daily highs will range between 5 to 9 degrees Celsius...topping out at 5 degrees in Seoul but it will feel colder so again grab that scarf when heading out.
